Well because the price is not worth it and I don't yet have enought costomers to cover the price. Jtag-galore even sai to me it's now worth it , he uses his griddle and rework station aswell

why should he get better equipment? this is NOT his full time job, if it was i would be with you 100%, he is doing this to earn a little extra cash on the side which is exactly what i was doing with the exact same equipment and i had alot of success doing it, if he does take this shop and does start getting multiple repair orders each day then he should upgrade but for what he's doing right now his equipment is perfect.
