Hey TTG
You guys know the Field Engineer glitch already right?
Well, when you delete the Title Update, you get the fortification modifications you normally would.
But, to make it even better, you also get the medal "Combat Engineer" every 5 times you press Y.
Simple, right? If you don't yet know how to clear you cache, I'll explain:
1. Go to "My Xbox", and select "System Settings".
2. Select "Memory".
3. Highlight your main storage device and press Y.
4. Select "Clear System Cache".
5. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select "Yes".
When you've cleared the cache, you go ahaid and play Gears of War 3.
When connected to Xbox LIVE, it will ask you to download the update. Select "No" on that screen.
When Gears of War 3 is booted up, select "Horde" and start a game with the following settings:
Difficulty: Casual (You need to complete a few waves, can be altered)
Start Wave: 1 (You can alter this, but I donnot recommend it)
Map Selection: Host Chooses
Enable Mutators: No (You can set this to "Yes" if you have mutators that make the game easier)
Then, when you're in the pre-game lobby, you'll be asked to choose a map, choose "Thrashball".
Then, have another player (must be done by 2 controllers) give the player you want to boost, $1000 by holding LT and pressing B.
When you're done with those steps, build a command post and build a Turret.
This is where the boosting really begins, have the 2nd controller (the none-boosting one) shoot the Turret and while shooting,
have the 1st controller (the boosting one) press Y at the Turret to refill the Turret's ammunition.
Keep shooting and pressing Y untill the 30 seconds of the pre-wave are done.
When you're done boosting, you will have to complete the wave for XP to save.
You'll notice that the boosting person will obtain many "Combat Engineer" ribbons, giving him 100 XP per ribbon.
Also, he will boost "Field Engineer" up to Onyx and further, which will lead up to 6000 XP per medal.

What does clearing the system cache even do does it do anything bad to the xbox? I dont want anything to happen

please don't say i am flaming but you lost some important information here you Forgot to say if you Clear your Xbox360's System Cache you will LOSE all UPDATES from Every Game you update like for example: I update Halo 3 to recent update then get off and switch to Gears of War 3 and then update that but, if you crear your cache it does not screw any dlc on Gears 3 only Black ops cause of the Title Updates or (TU) for the maps.
