Please bare in mind its a budget build that i built i'll get photos uploaded when i can!

CPU: AMD 965 x4 BE
GPU: AMD Radeon 6770
PSU: 650w Corsair (I know i went overkill but planning on upgrading GPU around xmas)
MOBO: ASUS M5A78L-M
RAM: 8GB 1333Mhz
HDD: 500GB Serial 7200Rpm
COOLING: AMD Stock cooling crap (upgrading to a Hyper 212+ around xmas)

Let us know your case, plus with a computer like I would upgrade the HDD as well as the motherboard, don't go micro and then you can add 8 more GB of ram since atx boards have 4 slots.

Main concerns atm is getting a new FAN and a graphics card possibly gonna purchase a SSD in the near future.

What's the point though? I doubt he will ever fill a 500gb hard drive and adding more RAM won't make a difference really just more wasted memory for the system.

@OP - Your standard cooling should be fine for now, depending on the case obviously. SSDs are very costly so get one if you really need one but if you install anything onto it, it will run lightning fast.

I would recommend getting a 256/258gb one as its enough for the operating system and a few high maintenance programs like photoshop or maya.

Good luck with your upgrades

It never hurts to have more, plus I have a 500 gb on my laptop and I killed the memory on that, had to wipe out a ton of stuff as for the ram yeah but dont go packing a micro
