The classic, "because its COD." I personally dont like Lil Wayne, i grew up in Atlanta and everybody liked him. One thing i do realize about him is he started off with no fan base, like call of duty. And built up a huge one, and their is something about him/his music that people obviously like.(Just like Justin Bieber)

People didnt just buy COD 4 because it was COD. IW made a great game, people heard about it, and it got a huge fan base. They will also most likely be making a lot more money off their game then BF3 ( again not saying because it is better or worst.) And gaming companies/developers want money.

I agree to some extent.

Lets say if the game devs from Infinity Ward worked with the community devs from Treyarch, i think they could potentially make a better game together.

But i still wouldn't buy it because CoD fails to interest me now.

:facepalm: Your credability just went down. Do you know anything about MW3? Or are you one of those people who just claim to be a COD fanboy that switched over to BF3 to make BF3 look better. I know they exist because ive seen some of my friends on XBL post things like this.

IW removed danger close, and one man army. So they did listen to their community. They may not of removed noob tubes but they removed danger close so noob tubes wont be as much of a problem as they were in MW2.

I was talking about IN Mw2. Like having an update in game that made it not as over powered. Like they did it with the model 1887's but that's about it. People have complained about noob tubes for over a year and IW has done nothing!!!!!

and they did a reduction on all noobtubes and also im a cod fanboy i have number 1 the finest hour and im getting mw3 but to tell you the truth i like BF now i bought one and 21 just last week to get away from black ops now that im 15th and i played BF3 beta and i loved it and il going to buy it

Thats because beta's dont have the full graphics, thats what people dont get about beta's its like they dont know what a point of a beta is

Its call of duties reputation. It may have gone down over the years, but when 1 person buys the game, they tell their friends to buy it too. Gears has always been popular, but some people have never played it therefor they would rather stick with what they have already rather than spend 65 bucks on something they don't even know about

This turned into a flame war really fast.

i wouldn't say so the maps are far to big you can hardly see anybody, but if they change the map size's then yes a good game
