what model of pc/mac the hardware difference or the OS difference? i would buy a pc cause its cheaper but has the same capability's as macs proprietary hardware and you can still install and run mac os/software. mac as a OS cant do anything windows or linux/unix can not do the only difference besides the coding of the OS is that right clicking is made difficult on a mac lol and is locked down so the user cant mess as much up if they dont know what they are doing.

Depends on what you're using computer for.

You'll end up spending around $1500+ on a Mac, but a custom built PC could save you more
money and have better hardware in it. For example, Mac's aren't great with gaming as they
can hardly handle racing games alone, nor could they handle high-end games such as Crysis.
You can spend the same amount of money that you'd spend on a Mac, for a PC and you'd end
up with top of the line hardware, that won't be outdated after another year comes around.

Not to mention, compatibility is an issue. People will claim "Mac is faster" but they fail
to realize it's not the Operating System, nor is it the name that makes a computer handle
things better, but the hardware on the inside of them. You can get an Intel i7 in a PC and
overclock it to around 4.50GHz (If you're smart, mine currently is clocked at 4.3 right now.
The best bet for any consumer is to buy hardware, and build your own PC. You'll save money.

Not to mention it'll be better than any Brand name PC, or a Mac. Just my opinion. Mac is too
overpriced for the hardware they're giving you, I'd much rather continue building my own than
end up buying from Apple. Not to mention, mostly all Apple users that own macs seem too ignorant.

Mac's are pretty awesome. But it all depends what your gonna use it for. Don't let people on a website tell you what you should get. Go to your local Apple Store/Best Buy and test out some Macs/PCs and decide on one.

You're both wrong. They are both well built machines, it's these idiotic users that keep breaking them.
OP: I prefer Apple products for laptops and phones, and I prefer PCs for desktop computers and gaming rigs.

Im not wrong at all. macs don't break easilly and PC's do break pretty easily just saying

Pc's actually dont break easily its how the person uses it. downloading 700 gigs of porn will not be good for your computer.even if you have two fluppy discs. anyway i prefer PC for desktop while an apple air book is good for laptops..

Macs are faster than pc's.. pc's are garbage i had pc all my life up until like a year ago and i can say from my experience this mac is faster. early 2011 edition. reason they are faster is this most people who are giving out viruses to computers target PC and not mac's.
