What Is OnLive?

OnLive is a cloud gaming service.
This means that all games, data and everything else is stored, rendered and ran on remote servers and delivered via an internet connection. So it's kinda like an interactive livestream which is pretty cool

If You're the type that prefers a video then Here:

Sounds Cool, But can my computer handle it? D:

Short Answer: Yes .

As long as you have a laptop/computer that is able to run a video then chances are it will be compatible, What DOES matter however is your internet speed, The Recommended speed is 5mb/s Although the MINIMUM Required internet speed is 2mb/s ^_^

Right. What's the catch? -_-

Honestly, I Can't think of a downside for this I've been using it for a few weeks now and aside for a few rare framerate drops (Because of my internet) It's been great.

So What, It's Just On Pc/Mac?

Nope ,
OnLive is Available for the following:
Windows PCs (Xp, Vista Or Windows 7)
An Intel Based Mac (Pretty much all recent Mac's/Macbooks) Running OSX 10.5.8 or later
Smartphones (Currently only the HTC Flyer And The iPhone)
Tablets: Android tablets And The Apple iPad
Connected TV's ( Onlive Recently announced the integration of it's game service into new VIZO VIA Plus Tv's)
    A OnLive Console

So Do you have to pay for it?

Unfortunately if you want to play full games then yes BUT Your first game you purchase is 1. ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) There are Instant Demos that allow you to play 30 minutes of the full game for pretty much every game out there, But if you don't want to buy a game forever you can buy a 3 Day Pass Or a 5 Day Pass.

I tried OnLive when it first came out i even tried it again do you know how hard it is to stream 2mb/s!!!! most high speed connections get a max 1.5 mb/s so if your running on wifi or dont live in a big city your screwed ONLive is a joke and shouldnt even be a viable option
