I heard a number like 37,000. = Number of people who cancelled their pre-order. HA

First of all, I've been gaming for 15 years now. So I'm not some teenager who's been a crack baby of the CoD series.

I know a good game when I play one.
Now. If you are going to make a game, and have a 'Beta' released to the public...
First, make sure you over estimate on how many people will play it.
Don't go and set your self and company up thinking your beta will be a huge hit and then your servers end up having problems the first day.

Second, if I were to go to a food court in one of the malls near by, try one of the asian foods free-samples that they just made. And it taste like Ass. I'm definitely not going to order that item...
The same concept should be thought over before you release a beta to the public.

Honestly, after I played the beta and realized I can go prone around the whole map.
You'd find about 20-30 different places where you can fall under the map and kill people.
I would definitely not buy it.

FIX UP YOUR SHI BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT.
I don't care how much trimming down you 'had' to do to 'save' memory.
Either put up a different map where there won't be so many problems.
Or again. Get your shit right.

P.S. ( @DICE )
Keep your employee's + forum mods on a leash because they obviously think that Battlefield was a privilege. (You'd know what I'm talking about if you read the news)

Also, I absolutely loved Battlefield 2.
No bias involved, rant over.

The moral is, you tried to hard this time and F'd up.

Edit: I will/would never flame anyone (unless you did harm in some form.)
So take what I say seriously but not offensively ;)
Thanks for reading.

Completely agree, the beta was terrible, although I'm still going to get BF3.

I agree 100%

I'm not a crack baby of the CoD series either, but MW3 is going to be way better then battlefield no doubt.

Your opinion of what a good game consists of or is represented by is not a fact and is not the same for everyone. Don't be so arrogant.

I've been saying the exact same since it came out.

The simple fact that to produce the discs, have them ready to ship, get them onto planes/boats/trains to get into shops in time for release - around the world - it's a logistical nightmare and takes a huge amount of time/effort.

Therefore I laugh when people call this a Beta. Because it just shows how very little they understand

Beta > Demo to Dice it's the same.

The beta was submitted a long time ago. By the time everyone played it all the bugs were already fixed.
