As you can see circled in red, I have a - that appears when I put my logo as a hyperlink.

Do you have it aligned correctly with the correct dimensions and such? If you created the logo with photoshop save it as "for web and devices" and then open it w/Notepad, or Dreamweaver or whatever you have. Then place it where you want with CSS.
