You live and die. Every "story" has been made up to explain why we are here. No one knows, and we probably will never know. Some believe in religion, others don't. I personally believe in Jesus Christ our lord and Savior. Really if you think about it, If I believe in God and someone else doesn't, were both screwed, but if there is a God I have a better chance than the other guy, to get into Heaven. That isn't the reason I believe in God, but it could be yours. I'm not trying to make anyone belive or not believe. I'm just saying this "theories" will not be proven for a long time, so why care?

Lot wrote My personal view :

Asteroids hit the earth and created masses amounts of water (the sea) (scientifically proven) then slowly through atoms and particles held by those asteroids/meteorites created small fish maybe some sort of plankton which evolved into larger fish over time, then fish became adapted to water and some evolved/mutated and grown an ability to be able to walk on land/live on land... There behold animals and from further mutation and evolution behold the monkeys which scientifically proven we evolved from.

I just was thinking If we evolved from monkeys, what are we going to evolve into?

We evolve all the time. it's very small, and not very noticeable. Try and comprehend how long 4 billion years is. That's a very long time. We didn't evolve from monkeys, we shared an ancestor. You're wrong to think we're the next big change in evolution, it could be any species. Go back a few 100 millions, and the Jelly fish would've thought it rule the planet.

Hope that was enlightening, and mind blowing.
