Hi there. I got banned from xbox live for MARKETPLACE THEFT.
The thing is, my friend got banned for license transferring, and I licensetransferred from my old xbox to my new xbox. And my friend came over to my place and we both played xbox but he had some game that he wanted to play, so he licensetransferred his content over to my console.
About 2 weeks later I got banned. I called XBL support immediately, they said that I should post on the xbl forum and ask why I got banned. So I did.
About 2 weeks after that I got a message saying that they removed my thread.
I have not done anything else to deserve this.
I'm thinking of actually going further with this.
I hade like 1600 ms points on it, and about 9 months of gold left.
I am pissed.
Any advice on how i could get my account back? I made the account 2 years ago, i have about 10k gs on it and lots of content...

Only thing i can suggest is call support a few more times and if you make an account ask them to transfer the live and Msp from the banned one to the new one

Uh.. I did the same thing.
I had an OLDDD account. I gave it away and made a new one. Well, the old account still had my credit card and the guy I gave the account to tried to buy like 8K microsoft points and eventually I caught on and went to the bank and the account was banned, and I still had another one. My main one. Well, it got banned. So I recovered my OLDDD one, the one I gave away, and it wasn't banned anymore. I license transferred the map packs from my new account to the old one since it had all my gamerscore and st00f.. Well.. I got banned. :L On both.

Do indeed take it further, it sounds like they can be done for libel.
