So i traded my account with a guy on MMOEXCHANGE for his, played on it for about a week with no trouble so transferred all my items over to it thinking it was all mine. After around 3 days of playing he recovered his account back with all my items. At this point i'm obviously pissed off because I've lost all my money, but i shot him a message asking why he did it and that i was going to recover my account if he didn't contact me ASAP.

Here comes the good part, when i went to recover my account, here it comes, it got denied. I try again, denied, again, denied, and all of the 7 other tries were DENIED. What the hell? I had recoveries set, got them all right, obviously i know where i live, i know when i created it, i know the freaking credit card i used and it always gets DENIED. This is insane. And Jagex doesn't have a number you can call for this stuff...

Now for all you pessimist who like to hide behind your computer and troll, yes i know it was the risk i took when trading accounts, but how was i supposed to know i couldn't recover my own account?! Comments, help, anything but spam is accepted...

Alright, i guess i'm done ranting, anyone else have this problem? Know how to help? Want to help? Thanks.

Nah man it's all about who created it.. if the person created it with their IP it's more likely to get accepted regardless of recoveries. Since your on a IP that didn't create it's very unlikely you'll recover it.

Well pretty much that, or the original IP it's been on the most .

Maybe since you threatened to recover your account the guy you traded it to changed the credit card number thus causing your credit card number to be denied lol. That would be a smart thing to do on his part.

The number one thing in recovering an account is getting the EARLIEST passwords correct.

I read on powerbot that you also need luck when recovering an account.
Even if you don't remember some info, fill in every box. Keep trying till it is accepted. According to things Ive read, it will eventually be accepted. good luck.
