No problem

Yea, they told me that the first couple of times I tried. Don't bother with the warranty section, just find another representative to talk to until you get lucky with one. Like I said, this might take a couple tries, that's why you need some patience

you actually didn't thank the topic but it's the thought that counts The process actually isn't that long, it's just annoying when you get representatives that ask way too many questions >.>

-Die- wrote Ok, so before we begin, you need to have patience as this took me 3 tries before I got my free code and it hasn't worked for my friend yet and he has tried 4 times. You need to get lucky with the operator for this to work.

Step 1: Go to their chat website here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Step 2: Sign in to your EA account, and once you do that you should see this page:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Step 3: For product type in "Medal of Honor" For platform, put whatever platform you play on obviously, and for Category select "Technical Support" in which you will get a subcategory, where you will select "Installation/Updates/Downloads."

Step 4: Choose the live-chat on the page that comes after that, not the phone support.

Step 5: Wait for the representative to come on and talk to you.

Items required for chat support:

You will need the following picture to proceed with the chat support, because they will always ask you for proof so use this picture that I found online somewhere.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Now we can continue with the chat support.

Step 6: When the rep asks you what your problem is, tell them that you were given MoH LE recently as a gift and that the online pass code that it came with isn't working.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you say you got it as a gift, because when they ask for the receipt this is your excuse for not having it.

Step 7: They will ask you what the code is, so tell them: JWDG9-HT86C-9749G-4YDYT-CR4HR (which is what is on the picture) This is also where it gets tricky, because the times it failed for me was here because they told me to contact the manufacturer for having an invalid code. But if you get passed this, then proceed, if not find another rep.

Step 8: They will then ask you for proof of the game by asking you for a picture of the game manual and the receipt (this is where you tell them that you don't have a receipt because it was a present and whoever bought it for you didn't give you the receipt.) Show them the picture that you obtained from me by attaching the file with the button in the chat. If they ask you (and they probably will) to sign the current date on the book, do what I did. I opened up that picture that I provided in paint, took the grey color and the pencil tool, and wrote it down on the book REALLY small so that it looked real at least. This is what that fake one looked like:

Step 9: After they receive and look at the picture, they SHOULD give you a code, and that's it, you're done.

Now enjoy you're free MoH online pass and 48hr early access to BF3 Beta 8)

Extra: Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I was lucky and was able to obtain THREE more codes from the same conversation. Feel free to try this if you want.

Step 10: When he gives you the code, go to xbox.com, sign in to your account, and go to where you redeem the codes. Type in a fake code, so that you get the code invalid error, then type in the REAL code that the rep gave you, and take a screenshot of that so that it looks like the code they gave you was invalid. Like so:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Step 11: When you take a picture of the invalid code, send it to them even if they don't ask you, that way they can actually see proof.

Step 12: If he/she buys into that excuse, then they will transfer you to level 2 of their support (which can take up to 30 min of wait time, so I was playing my xbox while I waited.)

Step 13: Explain to the next rep that the previous person gave you a code, but that it didn't work when you tried to redeem it, and since they have a history of the conversation, they shouldn't ask you for proof or anything. Wait until they give you another code, and tell them that the one they just gave you also didn't work and keep going until they stop giving you free codes 8)

Step 14: Go out and share the codes with your friends to play BF3 2 days early when it's released

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if it worked for you, please post your conversation with EA so I can update the thread accordingly. Please thank the topic so I know this work didn't go to waste.

On a side note, this is my first real tutorial, so if it needs improvement, please feel free to leave positive or negative feedback.

Proof of the conversation:

Conversation 1 where I got my first code:

Conversation 2 where I got the next three codes:

Proof that I can't get more codes (so don't ask):

No, they tweeted on the battlefield account that you wouldn't need the disk for the early beta, only the code.

I have checked out the game manual and the purchase receipt you have provided are illegible and are not legitimate copy. I would like to suggest you to please don't come again with this code. If you think you have the legitimate copy of the game I would suggest you to please Send the game with a photo copy of the receipt to our warranty department requesting the exchange. Our shipping address can be found on the last page of the game manual or at the bottom of our warranty page: - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

So not fair:(

Just try again with another operator until you find one that buys into your excuse. I had to try over and over again like 3 or 4 times until I got lucky with mine. And they always sent me to the warranty department, don't get discouraged, just try again
