do u extract the default.xex file BEFORE you mod the common and (idr the other one)? then AFTER you replace the common and (idr the other one) you MUST replace the default.xex file other wise that will cause it to freeze
either that or ur using an OLD files lol. the game was recently patched(about 3 months ago) and it freezes everyones xbox who tries to play on there with old files

What discs are you using?
Have you followed a step by step tutorial?
What mods are you using?
Did you edit the mods?
Last of all did you clear you cache?
