Well, I am sure you all saw the sticky for the reset slim, or "JTAG'd" Slim.

So This is what it is really called,

I just learned the real name myself, but I knew it was not called a JTAG.

Actually it uses the same jtag points as a normal jtag. It looks different because it is a different motherboard. Its called RGE because it tricks the CPU into loading unsigned code. In this case it is Xell Reloaded.

wouldn't that mean that if you use the reset glitch on a phat one it'd be called that? how would you know? just call it a jtag, it's not like it's this important.

JTAG is done the old way
REG is done the new way, doesn't matter if the console is is a PHAT or not

it Does not use the same jtag points... the same points for dumping the nand but that is the only way to dump the nand
