The Ultimate Sniper Guide!!!

About this guide:
In this guide i will be showing you many basics of sniping and how you can improve your quickscopes and no scopes.

Techniques:
There are 3 main ways that are u used in sniping and they are:

The Quickscope: This is one of the most known techniques. All you zoom in for aobut a second or less and take your shot. After you take your shot you immediately zoom out of your scope. Many people use this technique because they say it is the most "skillful" way of sniping. It is one of the hardest skills in sniping to master.

The No-Scope: The no scope is simple you fire the sniper rifle without aiming down the sights. his shot takes some luck but using certain techniques such as the G-Shot you can control where the bullet lands a little bit more. This is a very unreliable way to snipe and it looks cool but should only be used in some situations.

The Hard Scope: The hard scope is usually what new snipers use. It is also simple. You aim down the sights as long as you need to take your shot. This shot is not noobish or stupid to use. at long range a hard scope is the most practical way to kill a target. Quick scopes are more practical at close range, not long range.

Now that we have covered the basic ways of sniping we can move on to the techniques used for sniping
Alright for all of you new snipers who arent sure what a quickscope is im going to put a video here for you.

He also emphasizes that no scopes are not practical in most situations!
This video will show you the basics of quickscoping.

Now for no scope techiniques:

G-Shot:With this technique you strafe right and left and when your crosshairs are coming back together you shoot the enemy. Here is a great vid by zzirgrizz showing how he performs this shot.

Now we have the strafe shot. with this shot you no scope and swing your crosshairs right or left. this shot is most effective at close range and can hit the target a good amount of times.

Next there is a the double tap Y trick. with this trick you tap Y twice very fast. It is best used at close range and is very accurate.

There are also a few trick shots which are shots that dont work very often but they are very cool and flashy.

There is a 360 no scope which is where your player does a 360 then executes a no scope. you dont usually hit the enemy but when you land it it feels great.

there are also third eye quickscopes. this is where you spin left and scope in which makes your scope move in a weird way and looks great for a final kill. ill show you what one looks like.
.

Now that we have dicussed the shots there is the classes. in mw2 the best guns to snipe with are the intervention or the barret. they are both equally good for quickscoping or no scoping. They get the least amount of hit markers of any of the snipers. but cod4 without a doub the m40 with either regular scope or acog. if you are no scoping the use acog because the acog sight maes the gun much more accurate for no scoping.

With the videos i have posted and the advice i have given i hope you will become a better sniper and enjoy the fun that sniping can bring!
