If you cant beat em, join em, as the old saying goes. Well it looks like the famed jailbreaker Nick Allegra, better known as @comex on twitter, decided to jump ship and announced via Twitter that he was hired as an intern at Apple.
The thetechgame.org super-star came onto the scenes a few years ago with the second version of JailbreakMe, and again with the third version. Now it looks like hes going behind the Iron Curtain at Apple and will be working behind the scenes as a code proofreader.
Allegra has previously stated that he is rather proficient in finding errors in Apples code. The hacker has already found 2 exploits within the PDF renderer in Safari, and another one is rumored to exist. His latest public exploit was the first one to jailbreak the iPad 2 and iOS 4.3.3.
On behalf of all jailbreakers, we want to thank comex for all his hard work on the iOS platform. He has freed all devices and allowed users to do what they please to the software. Not to mention, it made our devices a lot more secure (thanks to Apple closing the vulnerabilities in a later iOS version).

I honestly think it was a smart move for apple to do this..

It's good that he was hired for Apple but he will probably not Jailbreak anymore :/
