I'm getting sick of my Beats By Dre Studio

M-audio Q40
Ultrasone HFI580
Audio Technica ES7

plenty of options out there. If you want more bass than the Studios, which I don't recommend, there is the V-moda LP2, Sony XB700

Budget: Preferably below $40-50

Music preferences: Rap/Rock

Type/form-factor: In ear

Open or closed: Idc

Listening from: iPod

Details: Preferably something durable, able to wrap up and stick in my pocket. I also (not sure how to explain this) would like the cord to be thinner and not sticky/rubbery feeling, as it'll usually be between my shirt as I skate. I also prefer having the remote on the headphones, but it's by no means a must. Lastly, it'd be nice if it didn't release much sound around me, since i'll be using them in school as well.

I've also seen you've linked a few via Amazon, which would be greatly helpful, since i've got some left over money on amazon.

How well do the Audio Technica ATH-M50 perform? Any reviews from people on here that have them? How good is the bass?

M50s are fine headphones for around $120. The bass is emphasized but not too much, bass weakens with weak sources like iPods. Good isolation, a bit heavy. I've spent a while with them since my friend has one.

If you can find them under $100, I'd say they're a good deal. If you're paying anywhere close to $160, you're getting robbed. They've been hyped to the moon and back to the point where people think they're better than they are. I'd pick the newly released Brainwavz HM9 over them.

I'd go with the Brainwavz HM9 or Sennheiser Amperior.

I just want to know you guys opinion on the monster Gratitude headphones. I generally tend to stay away from celebrity endorsed headphones as well as monster but I think these may be different. Also your opinion on the Klipsch S4 and S4i.

The type of music I listen to most is gospel. I also listen to a little rap here and there. I want an in ear headphone that is best all around . I will be listening mostly from ipad mini and Galaxy s4

Thanks

How much is your budget? Though strangely enough, I like the Gratitude for anything vocal-related. If you can get it for as much as the S4, I wouldn't hesitate. The S4 was good for its time, now it's mediocre compared to what's come out since then.
