Budget: 250-320 USD

Music preferences: I prefer a lot of bass, Post-Core & Hardcore music.

Type/form-factor: I have no idea literally what this is....

Open or closed: closed

Listening from: Home or Class.

Details: I honestly do not care about style, my only concern is that the bass wont be distorted, or anything else while listening to a song with a large amount of bass.

The Pro 900 seems perfect for you. They're very bassy, portable, and durable.

Your budget is unclear, but if you want a very bassy over-ear headphone, the V-Moda LP is a nice option.

I've never even heard of those. Doing a cursory search, they seem to be just an OEM from another company.

Hmmm I see. If my budget is below $150, what IEM would you guys recommend? For clarity and vocal performance.

Just dropping by with a temporary setup:

The SA5000 is going back to its owner tomorrow, but I'll be buying something pretty soon, when I sell my PXC450 and possibly my incoming D12 if it isn't much better than my O2. I didn't realize how big it probably is. The stuff is all iFi stuff. The thing with the USB ports is a USB power conditioner.

I'm more than a little jelly. That's an amazing setup! I wish I had the money for an upgrade from my M50s, which I wish I wasn't still using. *5paperbag5*

I'm not sure if I get to keep them (Probably not) but the amp puts the O2 to absolute shame. It the amp's a bit bright, but less so than the O2, and has a nice bump in the midrange. The DAC's pretty neutral too. The Gamma2 sounds a bit warm veiled in comparison. It'll be rough trying to adjust back. I'm probably finally buying a Q701 when I sell my stuff, but I also want something closed. I was planning on an M100, but it may be too dark. The PRO500 is too expensive.

EDIT: Just remembered the W1000X may be in my price range. Tempted. Very tempted.

Sup it's being a while since my last visit. So I've got the SR850s with my Z Walkman and I've been really impressed with the sound of both.

I like the SR850s, but like other reviewers have pointed out, I've found that they lack depth. So do you guy have any recommendations up to $100 that would be an upgrade over these?

Honestly, anything under $100 will just be a sidegrade. If you want bigger soundstage, you could look for a Sennheiser HD558 in your price range.

Just got an iBasso D12. It's much smoother than the O2, which I find grating. If anyone wants it, I'll probably end up selling it for the price I paid: $80.

Budget: $60 no more than

Music preferences: Bass heavy music of all sorts

Type/form-factor: over-ear

Open or closed: Closed

Listening from: PC

Details: I'm looking for a decent gaming headset, but I will be listening to music too. I have a turtle beach p11 headset right now that has completely gone downhill. If I had any more money to spend, I would, but I don't. I need it to have a decent mic, too. Any help is appreciated.
