great post man, i downloaded malwarebytes and it picked up on some viruses from files i didnt even know i had :facepalm: good job it found them before they did some damage.

in all reality. this is a great topic that obviously had a lot of work put into it. but sadly, there is no true protection from a rat. rats can infect you from many different multiples of things not mentioned in this post. like just for going on an infected website for instance. most rats today are FUD which means fully un detectable and none of these softwares will allow you to find and remove them. no matter what anyone says. you will ALWAYS be volnerable to keyloggers and rats. If anyone wants to argue against me i dare you to test my theory. ill send u my rat and you can see that you are skrewed if i infect you. your best shot to not getting infected is not going on any runsecape forum AT ALL. hope that this brought you all to light. thank you OP for this post and thank you all for reading.

Most people won't have a FUD rat, since they are leeching skids who think pressing on a button to make a keylogger. Also, about your rat.. I doubt it'll do much. Remove it's start up and it won't do jack.

You can go to forums safely, if you just don't download anything you see on there. I do appreciate the post though.
