TuT: This is sooo Simple.

Just drag the Save into Modio and also drag your profile in there too. Copy your ID's and paste them into the Save's ID's. Rehash and resign the save.

Now go back to your USB xplorer and click on Data partition, Click your profile, then drag the 4D5389B9 folder into the Right hand side column. Click 'File - Close' and enjoy your GoW3 Beta save.

This has everything, Camo's Guns, Everything needed to unlock stuff o the GoW3 Retail game.

You DO need the beta downloaded. Just look for a recent post or look on the Donwload section for it.

where do i get this file from? 4D5389B9

You have to have the Gears of war 3 beta on your USB/transfer cabble, then create the File '4D5389B9' in the beta section. If you dont have the beta just download it from the Dowload section, but you wont be able to play the beta (Epic servers are down). If you already have the '4D5389B9' file in the beta section, just put the save in there

Just move in to the Gears 3 beta.

1. You put it in this folder 4D5389B9 however, is the subdirectory 000001 required?

2. You download the beta from here? Downloads/id=1869/gow3-beta-acces...ml#details and put it in content/0000000 right?

3. Do you have to have played the beta for these unlocks to work when the retail version of GOW3 comes out? I myself have not played the beta and am doing this to hopefully get the flame camos.

Same here!, I want the Flame Camos! I played the beta on a different account.. but now im using a new one i made.
I heard this isnt a for sure thing... since the game hasnt came out yet.. so we will find out on sept. 20!

is there a possibility for someone to test this out on a jtag version of the game? because i really want to know if this works. i used my main accounts playerdata for my clan account because i want to make that my main and i never played the beta on it and i want to keep my unlocks.

Ok to answer my own questions after a bit of experimenting

1. Since I never played the gears 3 beta and there was no file structure present, it goes partition 3, content, [your profile], 4D5389B9, 00000001, [save here]

2. The beta file is put in partition 3, 00000000, however it must be in the folder 4D5389B9, 00000080, [beta here]

I got both of them to work and it registers as the gears 3 beta and gears 3 beta save on my xbox hard drive.

3. Apparently Epic Games took down their servers from the beta, so all the data is indeed stored in the save and NOT server sided. We should be able to unlock the beta items simply by using a save unless other conditions arise that prevent us from doing so.

I highly doubt they will do this..
as because many people deleted their save without knowing that they needed it!
I was one of them, so i really want my Flame camos back!
But the save that this guy is offering is cool, since hes played the beta since the beginning and has the Hammerburst Flame!
So if this works, im so repping this guy!
