okay its just a question i use to host online mw2 lobbies but just was wondering how people hook up system link do they just system link jtag to retail or through the router just wondering so when mw2 systm link ever works again i can host then
I know that there patched but in my house were doing remodeling and im going to re run wires and my jtag and retail are in 2 different rooms i wanted to know to run the ethernets to each other or to the router for system IM NOT TRYING TO HOST RIGHT NOW JUST FOR FEATURE

people are working on it but its patched you cant find your jtagged game on your retail through system link anymore but friend me on here and i will tell you when everythings bypassed for real if you want

No i know its patched just wondering how they ran the ethernet cables im remodeling my house and all the wires will be in the wall and just wanted to know if they run from retail to jtag or jtag and retail both to router?

You cannot host MW2 system link anymore due to the TU7 which patched it.
The TU changes how the game loads things,the gsc files that needed to be modified for these lobbies in the patch.ff are now being loaded directly from the defualt.xex.
What does this mean?
Patch coded in C++.
default.xex coded in PPC.
It is MUCH harder to try and modify the xex through reverse engineering than modding a patch.ff .
To do so would need a lot of knowledge on PPC,and would be extremely difficult.
Eaton,as everyone knows has by-passed the TU7 patch and has got system link to work.
People have speculated he has spoofed his TU6 to appear to be TU7 when connecting,and has not modified the default.xex,but it's impossible to know unless he has told you.

I guarantee you did not get a system link between your JTAG and retail Xbox 360 working,with TU7 MW2 and a patch that allows you to modify your stats on your retail.
Mainly because,like I said,you would need to mofidy your default.xex or spoof your TU6 on your JTAG to appear to be TU7.
