I didn't register too long ago and then once I logged into my account I attempted to get to know a couple of people. I firstly went into the shoutbox and said 'hey' about three or four times, secondly I said 'ohai' and then got abuse saying 'gtfo' etc. I don't understand the reason behind ignorance. Is it due to me having a low post count and a low reputation on the forums? I believe that's most likely the answer. Other users of various communities usually get a response but unless you have gold membership, high post count and reputation then you're nothing in my opinion. I've noticed this with a couple of other members, finally after a while I got a bit more noticeable from other members only because someone had gifted me gold (thanks xFreeBoot). The reason I'm creating a rant is that I'd like discuss why members only respond to you if you have a high post count etc.

i 110 % agree its coz of all the other low people are leechers and when low people post they get ignored just remember we were all low ranked with no rep once so why treat people diffrently

because the "kids" on here think they're great just because of their post count and rep, when in the end it just shows that you have nothing better to do. This should get stickied have a feeling it will happen to recuur

I know what you mean, I See a lot of Low post count people not getting the recognition they deserve just because they are new/low posters/not gold and that's pretty sad. You on the other hand have been making some really good Posts and also I Saw your work in the GFX Section for that banner. and maybe you can get noticed in there cause your very good at GFX

It's for anyone, click on the Extra links tab at the top right of the page and the drop down menu shows the shoutbox.
