Not bad, what voltage are you on to have a stable 4.4Ghz ?

Edit:

Why not upgrade to a Noctua CPU cooler? Just searching around on some pc builds I've seen some pretty stable 4.5-4.7ghz builds.

I know you can hit 4.4 easy... On stock cooling! I don't know how it handles Prime95, SuperPi, etc., but a fairly stable 4.4 on any air? Amazing! You don't even have to tweak anything. There is often even a button that does everything for you!

If you put a D14 on it, you could hit 5 ghz if your CPU was able with minimal tweaking. With water, the possibilities are amazing. My 2500K is going under an H80 with 2 AP-15s (if I can find them, that is) and I will be shooting for above 5 ghz.

Usually they put too much voltage since they know not every chip will OC the same. A manual O/C is always better..and now easier! Also, I wouldn't trust stock cooling, Intel and AMD have been using the same trash heatsinks for the past decade. Yea, a DH-14 is awesome..well, that's if it can fit in your case.

Friends don't let friends use stock cooling.

And for the user who does not really care, those auto OC tools are great. However, I do care and will be tweaking this thing until I get the last little bit of performance out of it.

That's one thing that's changed from 1366 to 1155. Overclocking. What used to take hours of small tweaks now does not take as much care.

im pretty sure i could have gone higher than 4.4 ghz because my temps are usually around 33 Celsius idle with a MB temp of 26. my air cooling is pretty good since the haf 922 has 1 200mm front intake 1 200mm top exhaust and a 120mm rear exhaust plus i added 2 120's in intake to the side panel so including the heat sink I'm running like 6 fans
