i just got cod waw for my pc but i cant get it to work.
my friend told me that it because i have windows 7 but i dont know much about pc and gaming on them
is it windows 7 that dont let me play or something else?
and if it is because of windows 7 is there a way to play cod waw on it?

I'm 1000% sure you're able to play COD WaW on Windows 7.
What do you mean you can't play it? Like it won't load up, or is it extremely laggy?

i can install it and when i click play solo it comes up with error and then lots of random letters and numbers

Have you tried fully re-installing it? Also, is it a legitimate copy of the game?

Hmm. Okay. Have you tried updated Java and your video card drivers? That's somewhat important.
There are only 2 video card manufacturers so it won't be insanely hard.
AMD / ATI card.

First of all do you have a good computer?
You may be running out of ram as you are playing the game and progressing through the levels. Your graphics card may not be up to the minimum requirements.
On the back of your case it says the minimum requirements. Compare them to your computers specs.
start> Control Panel> System and Maintenance> System
(for RAM and Processor)
If you click device manager to the left you can find more info about different components of your computer.
