This is my way of setting up a vanilla server (No plugins)

1. Make a File somewhere accesable (Desktop for example)
2. Name it somthing along the line's of "Minecraft Server"
3. Go to: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
4. When your on the page scroll down until you see "Multiplayer beta server software".
5. Click the link for "minecraft_server.jar"
6. Once that's downloaded place it in the "Minecraft server" folder you made.
7. Double-Click the "Minecraft_Server.jar", It will open a window just wait until all the "Spawning area" is done and it's finished doing everything.
8. DONT CLOSE THE WINDOW, Type "Stop" into the text box at the bottom and hit "Enter".
9. Once you have closed it there should be a few files in the folder, Look for the folder called "World" and delete it (It's just a world that's generated while creating the other files).
10. Once you've deleted that open the "Server" File (It should be a "PROPERTIES File")
11. It should open in Notepad, once it's open look for the line that says "Level-Name" Change that to whatever you want your world to be renamed as.
13. Change the "Server IP" to the hamachi IP. (the Number next to the power button eg. 5.245.346.235)
14. Make sure the "Server-Port" is "25565".
15. after all that Save the Notepad file.
16. open up the "minecraft_Server.jar" and it should run, Once all that is loaded up, go onto minecraft and try and connect to your Hamachi IP (The one you entered into the server setting's).
17. If it does not let you connect, you will probably have to disable your firewall, or allow hamachi to access your firewall.

Hope it helped
