the old system was trash with many flaws the numbers being kicked around were a joke rep on the old system did not mean anything now it means something it has been made smaller with better numbers 100 rep on this system is good like how 500 would be

at the end of the day you are lucky we have a rep system because i was just going to drop it all together because of the problems it creates this new system is more fair to everyone its new and will take aweek or so to get going if you had so much rep on the past rep system for being a good member you will earn it again why the worrying

This system is far better. Once it gets into full swing people will start to realise that it actually means something. Not like the other system where people could dish out hundreds of neg rep just because they could!

sean i am just trying to point out the fact that there is a lot of members that like the old rep system and that i had a lot of rep and that got me a lot of buyers with my modded lobbies and i am sad that the people that had alot of rep just lost it and now know one know that the user is known.
what i am trying to say it i wish that the people like me would have gotten s trusted seller rank or more rep power then we got.

I agree with you 100% Sean, too many people on this site think that rep shows how good you are, and so people whine and annoy others by constantly complaining about it. Argh i hope this rep system gets rid of those kids who complain that they've benn -repped.

you are missing the point its not like its just you everyone on the new system has started again your rep is green so you are trusted

having 5000 rep on the old system did not mean jack!

new members would sign up and a friend would give them 1000 rep and that user would start selling whatever

does that mean they are legit hell no

a mix of post count, rep, age of account, profile friends and info this all goes towards it

the point you are making is dumb

user has 1 post and 2000 rep can we trust that user? come on..

ya also you will still be able to get all that rep back but just in smaller portions now
