ive have been wanting to start a server forever but i cant seem to figure out how can some one please help me???

I have a pre-made server (made by DerbyA95 not me) which you can download.

All you have to do is open the server.properties file and make sure the IP is blank and if you want it to be cracked change the online-mode to 'false'. Either port-forward or set up a hamachi network. And then run the .bat file. And it should work.
