I think that console gaming is going to crash and burn within the next ten years. The games (In my opinion) have been declining in quality for years now. Not the graphics but the story, and without a good story your game is going to be crap. All the major companies are so focused on the integration of new features into the "latest and greatest" product that they forget what made gaming popular in the first place. A simple concept turned into an addictive experience. Take Pong for example, it looks like a piece of crap but was one of the highest grossing video games of all-time. Anyway, my point is that the video game industry needs to get it's act together and push out some good quality games that have cool features and a great story to back it up.

Also, this isn't meant to be a rant. I kind of just do that Post your thoughts below.

Like I said, I'm not ranting. Just stating an opinion.

I believe PC gaming takes more skill than console gaming, so that's one reason why I switched to PC. I agree that console gaming might crash and burn within the next decade or so.

Yeah, the only reason I haven't fully done so is because I don't have a good enough computer to run some of the higher end games. Computers are light years ahead of the consoles and always have been.

I was hoping someone would say that. Call of Duty has become a huge joke. The only CoD I will still play is Modern Warfare 2 because I find the online fun.

CoD really sucks period. Anyway, they don't suck on compy. Most people are just used to console gaming.
