There isn't really a specialised "gaming" TV.
The basics you need for a TV you can play games on are
1. HD
2. 1080i or 1080p
3. Size (Don't want it being to big or to small)
4. Sound (Crystal clear sound is always an advntage for online gaming)
5. Surround sound (this is a good investment because you can hear enemy's footsteps coming from behind you)
6. Price (you don't want to be spending a fortune)

What room are you planning on getting it in?

My room..and do Tv's come in 1080p or i when their smaller than 30 inches?

Bedroom?
And yes they do.
My TV in my bedroom is a Bush 26inch and has brilliant picture and sound quality
If you are from the UK simular sizes are around £200-£300
You can buy one's in Tesco 26inches with a built in PVR (Like a Dazzle capture card)

can you post the link for me?

thats why you should just you VGA with a moniter because its cheap and ias the best for Gaming!

The Samsung is a good TV with great sound but I personlly think thats kinda small
The 26 Inch would be a much wiser investment as Samsungs usually cost more than any other brand
Plus the Bush 26 inch would probably be cheaper ;)

If you can afford it, LED TVs are the best, IMO.

And the high frame rate the better - especially for gaming.

Better frame rate makes everything look much smoother.

Let me know if that helps.

HDMI connection is the best for connecting video games, PCs, DVD/blueray to a TV make sure what you puchase has enough HDMI ports for the devices you plan on connecting.

The "best" for gaming is plasma, this is the technology that is also best for watching sports. However, I did not like the reflection the screen gives. My preference was for LCD, I have a 2 year old Sony LCD at 60hz with a Xbox 360 elite connected to it. Plays wonderfully in my opinion. After watching it I can now see the difference between fast motion on Plasma and LCD. Plasma is better at handling fast video motion. I doesn't bother me all that much since I have to be looking for the difference. When I purchase my next TV I will go LCD again but with 120hz or 240hz whichever is the better deal at the time I purchase.

The best advice I can give is to go to the store and have them play a blue ray (1080p) movie with fast action on both plasma and LCD. Your eye will be the best judge for your needs.

Hope this helps.

+ rep thanks :]
