You probably need too make sure the magnet and the black piece are connected for sure

i do have a chip in the black part on the outside does that effect it?

Are you hotswaping correctly? Like where when you have the World at War disc in, you click the Y Button and see the "Play Game" and "Install Game"?

Then do the hotswaping process. Should work then...
But if you already do that, then Idk.
It sounds like you are just putting the modded disc in and not the Legal Copy.

i put in the world at war game (not iso) and it just says open tray not play game or game options

happend to me when i first started, you have to be SUPER quick put the disk and magnet on very fast and make sure you pressed Y when you inserted your original copy. 8)

thats not the problem its that the xbox wont read the disk at all i put in my waw and after 30 seconds it just gives me an option to open tray

Is your WaW Scratched? Try cleaning it off. If it doesn't, is the disc spinning?

im playing my waw on another xbox and its working fine and most of the time the disk spins but when it does a clicking noise occurs
