Grounded wrote Well today is my 1 year anniversary with TTG. I feel older as a person and as my entity on TTG known as Grounded. But over this past year my life has changed dramatically. I got my license, a car, and arrested. I went from the highest point in my life to the lowest in less then a month. Now reflecting on the first day that I signed up here to this point now. I have grown to be a much more filled with life and become a lot more mature. I am proud of this and everything I've done in the past year, regardless of how much trouble it has brought me.

Now my thoughts on TTG over the past year. When I first signed up I thought that the website was incredible with all the latest mods on MW2 I thought it was the sh*t! But as time grew I started to get to know the community more I found out that a lot of them were attention wh*res. Mainly newbies but some old timers as well. My biggest complaint is the mods situation. It is just like at work you kiss your boss's a*s enough eventually you will get a raise, before the other guy who just does his work and doesn't complain or show off, just does his job like he's suppose to. And this is what really irritates me is that admins chose whoever kisses their a*s the most. They don't take the time to look around the forums to see who's really helping out the community the most, not just filling the most reports or who's coming out with the latest mods, but the people who actually take the time to help out newbies and file some complaints and come out with some new stuff. And before any of you think that this rant is because I want to get mod you're beyond wrong. If I was offered it would you take it? Of course as would I. Am I saying I'm the most qualified? Hell no I'm not. I still have a long road ahead of me. But that's just my two cents. And if you're still reading this you're f*cking crazy.

But that sums up. I'm not going to thank anyone who's 'helped me out over the last year' cuz that's just stupid to name people who've made you laugh a couple times over the internet.

Staff choice seems okay. There are the few staff members who are quite the cocky asshole types but the forums don't seem to suffer from it. I'm sure they all have rules as staff to follow anyway so I'm not as concerned. TTG has changed over the year though, we have grown VERY much. This account I'm logged into was created maybe a week before the Tenth lobbies for MW2 started. I'm not going to say that's when I joined. I had an account on here in October of 2009 when I lost my password around this accounts creation. There was no way for me to retrieve the account so I had an admin delete the account and created this one. Anyways back in 09' on TTG, the community was VERY small. As if it were a small town, everyone knew each other and everyone had their profession. There was the modder, the glitcher, the Graphics Guy, the News Guy, the Avid Poster, the MLG Pro Gamer, etc. Anyways zombie glitching was Very big, and that's how i found myself here. I had shown a glitch I found to an xbox user name TTG Anthony, and he had never heard of it and told me to post it on TTG. First I made a video tutorial on Youtube and then signed up and posted it. I got a sticky in the old WaW section but they took it down.

Sorry to make this reply all about me I'm simply responding to what you have to say about how TTG has changed and am providing a brief history of how I got here.


Anyway, Congrats on 1 year member and don't get too mad at site admins/such, they are all people like us. Except they are trying to run a site that is growing beyond what most people would imagine out of a small site 2-3 years ago.

Please do not apologize for having a conversation in which I can relate to. I understand what you're talking about. But like each new mod is like the the voting for John McCain and then have it turn out Barack won the election and you're just pissed off about it but it happens time after time after time.
