Okay, I have a budget of like 500... I might be able to push it to 600 (MAYBE) and I need a PC with decent specs...

I'm hoping for a good one, as I render a lot of videos and run a lot of software.

Any help TTG?

Thanks

For rendering its best to build your own

Go for a big ram and good processer.

Dont go with a mac on your budget. It will be like buying a 50 laptop off some dodgey guy from the street.

Visit some Customise-Your-Own websites and get your custom built. Try and get (at minimum):

Quad Core processor
4GB of Ram
1TB of HDD
Asus 5670 1GB graphics card

Try to build it around that (keep in mind they are the minimums) and have fun

MAC's are slow as **** for rendering and video editing -.- tehy got only 2.2GHz

Just build ur own you can get about 6.0Ghz with 500 and 8Gigs of DDR3

AMD processors are cheap and powerful.

Clock speed does not determine performance. Architecture does. Clock speed (which is actually a misnomer nowadays) is only useful for comparing the speed of CPUs with the same architecture.
