to find your OS go to start> My computer> on the right hand side it should say system settings> click on it.

First goto tools in the top left corner of your screen on the Internet or File and check the work offline... After you've done this shutdown your computer wait five minutes then restart it... Once you've done this log back in onto your user name and go back to whatever you were doing but at the same time run some type of virus program to check if there is any..
