In a few simple steps I'm going to show you how to fix you RROD Xbox 360

Step submitted by: Demand
Towel Trick
If you xbox has then RROD get three towels and wrap it around the console.
Then you leave your xbox on with the RROD while the towels are on it.
Then you come back and hour later.
Then you turn it off.
Then turn it back on gently without the towels on.

Step 1: A simple error

You may just have a error. Unplug everything (AV, HDMI, Power Brick, Kinect,ETC) and plug it back in. It should be working after that.

Step 2: Disk Drive Error

Your disk drive may be really dusty or broken. If your really advanced with customizing an xbox or Jtaging a xbox this should be an easy fix. If not send it in to Microsoft. If you want to Vlean the drive get a portable vacuum cleaner (Handheld). Open your Disk Drive and blow into it. If you want it totally cleaned open your xbox 360 from the top and clean the whole thing out.

Step 3: OverHeating

If your xbox is constantley freezing or not allowing you to click the menu button ( Middle X Button) it's overheating. You will get an RROD soon if this keeps happening. If you want to prevent this make sure you clean the xbox once every 3 months. It will help your xbox out and also prevent really bad loud sounds or an RROD. If it's RRODed send it to microsoft. I will look this up and update this on how to fix this.Or just get a Cooling fan for your xbox

Step 4: Moving your xbox while it's on

If you have a game in your xbox. And your xbox is moving. You have a high chance of getting an RROD and a Perfect circle scratch on your disk. If you want to prevent this put your xbox on Flat sturdy Surface. Or place standing on something flat. If your xbox Falls and there a game inside of it it may break get an RROD and xbox will be dead or xbox will have some broken parts inside. Try to refrain from standing your xbox on something cause I had a really bad experience with this.

Those are some simple steps on how to fix an RROD. This does NOT work with a Jtag
