Hey guys today i am going to show you how to use a regular old USB Flash Drive as internal storage in your xbox 360.

1st: Buy a flash drive or use one you already have. (any size from 1GB-16GB)

2nd: Take apart the USB Flash drive

3rd: De-solder the USB connector from the Flash Drive. Take a picture so u remember where the connections are on the Flash Drive.

4th: Solder a wire to each of the 4 connections on the Flash Drive then solder them to the corresponding connection on the motherboard. You may just run the wires around the side of the MOBO and into the Case.

5th: Now you can hot glue the Flash Drive onto the side of the USB component inside the case.

I thought it was cool up until you can't use that usb port anymore. Maybe if you soldered the power wires do another 5v source it would work.

The 5v doesn't effect anything its the DATA + and DATA - that would probably mess up if you tried pulling another Flash drive into it you would be trying to send two signals through the DATA + and two through the DATA -... IDK if it will mess the xbox or flash drive up. But i dont wana try since i have a JTAG and don't have the money to buy a new xbox if it **** up

Can you use this to store avatar things and gamer pics?, I have a 20G HDD and it totally packed so could this be a thing where I can divert some things off onto the USB?
thanks
