Hai der fellow yanks, brits and such others, i was able to visit the USA thanks to 2 years of money saving and hard work, and i do not regret visiting this beautiful country. Indeed it is beautiful, everything is beautiful.... besides most of the population.
I come from a country, that, from what i saw, is not known, and it should. I was in Texas, New Mexico Arizona, then i flew over a few states to get to New York and then went to Pennsylvania. I loved being there, but for the love of god.. how can people be so ignorant, you americans do not know the existence of any world beyond your freaking continent, you're so self-centered, people asked me where i was from (Teachers, Doctors etc..) when i said i was from Portugal, i was amazed with the ignorance, teachers and doctors should be able to know where that country is, let me tell you, it's in Europe, SouthWest, Iberian Peninsula. God, they asked if we could go out and play football, and if we had television or internet over there, we are a democratic country... pure facepalm. We were one of the biggest empires in history, biggest navy, powerful army and a great country overall.. i guess we're not as good as we were, but i acknowlegde we are under-rated.... And i met alot of people, and they all asked me this kind of questions. It's ad, how a person that lives in such a country, high standards of living, and probably the most advanced nation in the planet, does not know where this country is situated...
