Hey guys this is a guide i a m writing to help you improve your gun skills and gameplay on black ops. Hopefully you found this guide helpful in helping you get better at CoD. Here are six simple steps that will help you.

1. Shoot before aiming, especially at close range! Many players first bring their sight up then shoot. The way that i have found that works best for me is to start shooting first then bring your sights up. This means that you are already firing bullets down range at your opponent and will hopefully gain the upper hand i winning the gun fight.

2. Drop Shots and Jump Shots. Drop shots are very helpful at close range gun fights and will help you will gun fights. A drop shot is when you change your stance from standing to prone whilst shooting. This change of stance means that if your opponent is shooting at you he will have to re adjust to hit you, this re adjustment of aim gives you the perfect opportunity to gain the advantage and win the gun fight. Drop shooting take a while to master and once mastered will massively improve your gameplay and will help you to win gun fights. For easier drop shooting use he tactical button layout.

Jump shooting is another valuable skill that will help you win gun fights. This is especially effective if there is enemies around a corner or in a room. The aim of a jump shot is to jump around the corner and shoot. This means that you are a moving target whilst you are shooting your enemies which makes you harder to hit and will hopefully give you the advantage in winning the gun fight.

3. Take your time. Play it smart. A smart player is an effective player. Take time to check corners and focus on effective movement around the map. if you play it smart, focus on populated areas of the map and gaining the best possible vantage point that provides good cover and protection but also an easy place to kill enemies. a helpful tip would be to learn some head glitches. These are point of cover which give you a clear field of view but your enemy can only see your head making you a smaller target. the only disadvantage to this is that the head is the most vulnerable part of the body and when exposed as the only target means that you wont be able to take much damage.

4. Gun Selection. Guns where put in the game to be used i say use them. Just because the 74u and famas are overpowered doesn't mean that you should use them from what people say. Use the best guns in the game as this will give you and immediate advantage over players not.

5. Kill streaks. Use kill streaks that you can earn on a regular basis. For example you do not want to be using 8 9 11 kill streaks if you average kill streak is 7. My choice of kill streaks would be UAV, this helps you get off the starting blocks and makes it easier to obtain the next kill streak. Then i would use a napalm strike. This is a good kill streak for objective based games as you can direct the strike over spawn points and objectives to get the maximum amount of kills. Then i would use either chopper gunner or dogs, which give you a nigh kill streak to really rack up the kills.

6. Extra Help. There are many products that can help you improve at call of duty none so more than a gaming headset. This provides a massive advantage of being able to hear play footsteps, calls such as when an enemies character shouts "reloading", and the weapon sounds such as cooking a grenade.
