The Whole point of this topic is to prevent people from getting - repped or banned for not knowing about reputation as I've seen many posts in the previous few days about " What Is Reputation ? " . It will also reduce and stop people abusing rep . I know people will say that there are hundreds of posts like these but I checked & they were all buried so that's why I created it .

Reputation .
Reputation shows and represents you on TTG and shows whether you are trustworthy & how achieving you are on the site . It is merely a number but it contributes to your account in many ways & let's others know you are legit .


Earning Reputation .
There are two main ways of gaining reputation .
The first way is by other users thanking you for a helpful topic or post or by contributing to the community . Every 100 reputation points you earn gives you 1 reputation power .
The second way is by posts . Every 25 posts you make earns you 1 reputation power .


Repping Another User .
Firstly , you must go to their topic / post that they created . In the bottom right corner you should see a small green flag , click on it . Now a small popup should appear . Now you can choose whether to + rep ( by agreeing with post ) or you can - rep ( by disagreeing with it and decide how many reputation points you will award or punish that user from the quality of their topic / post . You can only give rep to 10 posters a day and you cannot award the same user twice . There is a one minute waiting period between each rep awardance you give .


Abuse Of Reputation .
Reputation Abuse = BAD
it will get you banned . So don't even think about it . Rep boosting is against the rules . It will get your rep resetted & you'll have to start all over again . Negative repping a user is also reputation abuse . You could get banned . If that user has done wrong report him . Don't abuse negative rep .


Gain Rep .
The best way to earn reputation is by helping out others in the community or offering your services to TTG members , 'nuff said .

If you want a good looking useful post then use these features .

- Use the Bold tool to make titles stand out .

- If you want to make your font size bigger then highlight your info on the topic and click on font size , there you will have tiny , small , normal , large and huge .

- Change your font colour which is next to font size , you have plenty of option to choose which colour to use so pick the nice colour .

- Center your work or put it too the left or right side of the page by clicking on the icons with lines in different orders , just choose the icon that you want your writing to look like .

- Spoilers : To create a spoiler the highlight the words or picture that you want to hide and click on the little white piece of paper .

- To place an image simply copy the image URL and click on the clip art looking icon .

- To place a YouTube video on your post then copy the url on the top of the webpage and click on the YouTube icon and paste on the bar .

- Emoticons show if your happy or angry at someone when you post or you can use them for fun

There should be one thumbs up & one thumbs down .
Click on the Thumbs Up with a green number to say that post is useful .
Click on the Thumbs Down with a red number to say that post is not useful .

Firstly , go to the right - bottom corner of the person's post .

Then locate the small red flag beside the green flag .

Click on the red flag .

Then choose why you want to report that person .

How To Give Rep

To give Rep Click on the Green Flag in the Bottom Right of A Post!

How Much Rep Can I Give to Someone In a Day?

You can Send 25 Rep to 1 User in a day(24 Hrs)
Gold members can send 50 rep to 1 user in a day (max)

How Many Times Can I Send Rep?

You can Send rep 10 Times in 24 Hrs.

Reputation Power

You Get 1 Reputation Power Either Every 25 Posts Or When you receive 100 rep from Other members.

Help My Rep Wont Go Up

If someone tells you "Oh i sent you X amount of rep" And your rep doesn't go up. THAT IS OK. For you to gain 1 rep power You need to receive 100 rep from members.

How Much Rep Can I Send?

You can send as Much as your Rep power is, However, you have to do it in quantities of 25 or 50 for a gold member .

When I Send Rep It Says: I agree Or disagree with this post

If you click agree, the rep sent will be +
If you disagree, you -rep

How can i check how much more Rep i need For 1 rep Power?

Go to account and near the bottom you will see a bar with Friends/Users/Messages/Reputation. Click reputation and it will say somewhere "You have X rep and Need X more rep til 1 reputation power.

How do i figure out how many posts i need til 1 rep power?

It Is located in the same place as above. It will say You need X amount of posts Until 1 Rep power

How can i check Rep Received/Given

Below the Section where you see how much rep and How many posts you need their will be a section Saying "Latest Reputation Given" This shows the last couple Of rep you have sent to Members.
Below that is a section Saying "Latest Reputation Received"
In it is The last Few Rep points you have been given With details such as: In which topic you were given the rep, How much rep it was, Time(Says Date after 24 Hrs.) And reason Rep was given [If provided]

When Giving Rep

When giving Rep, It no Longer takes away from your rep. So feel free to rep a member how much you truly think they deserve.



Amount Of Rep You Can Give

The maximum Amount Of rep You can give Is 25, IF You Have 25- Or more Rep power. But you can only Send how much you have if it's Below 25. Say you have 15- Then the max You can send is 15 Rep. For gold members , the maximum is 50 , even if you have higher rep power .

Usually When you Ask for Rep, Members WILL NOT Rep you and some often -Rep you Just for asking. Please refrain From asking for Rep even if you feel your post deserves it.

Making Helpful Posts and topics often get you +rep. Posts like this Include Helping Members and Making tutorials.


Make Tutorials

Know something your good at that other people Might not be?
Make a tutorial. Tutorials often help many members of a community and are a good source to bring in +rep, But as stated above DON'T ASK. If a member finds it truly helpful to them. They WILL +rep you



Be active

If you are active On the forums/ Posting/Making topics, the more chance you have of helping a member. Be active/Make Posts/Make Topics.

Tips On Creating Good Spam-Free Posts!

Make Tutorials/Help Members

As Stated above making Tutorials is a great way to take in rep and Help members, But also tutorials are often NOT Seen as spam.


Don't Post Random Things

Don't post something Like "Thank You, I will Use This" On an Introduction. 1.That is COMPLETELY off topic and does NOT help the post at all.


Before Posting, Ask Yourself

1. Does My Post Help Anyone? If it Does it is More than likely NOT Spam and SHOULD be Posted, Helping members is a good way to Gain Post Count and be welcomed in the community

2. Does my Post Contribute To the Topic? If it Doesn't it Should NOT Be posted. Making off-topic and "Random" Posts Are usually Seen as spam

3. How is The Quality Of the Post? Take for Example If someone makes a tutorial and you like it, Right? And you Post Oh yeah, Great Tut dude. That COULD be Seen as Spam and should be rarely Posted. This is because the quality is NOT good. If you like a tutorial a better thing would be to say, "Great Topic And Tutorial I will be sure to try this if i have some spare time "
See how much longer that was and it shows that you actually did like the tutorial

1. Don't Spam, everyone hates spammers and u will get ur topic or post closed/deleted

2. Don't Scam, if u scam then u will be banned. If not banned then u will earn yourself a bad reputation and suspended.

3.Be a good active member here. Post daily and post a sentence or 2. Because if u put:
"Cool Banner." thats considered as spam.

4.Try to help the community out. Maybe start a avatar shop and do it for free. Maybe even make a infection thread where u do daily infection pub lobbies.

5. Don't sell if not verified by a admin or mod. I've seen a lot of people selling kvs,jtags, 10th lobby invites. That will just get your topic closed even if u are legit.

6. Don't post the same topic over and over again. If u got your topic closed once DO NOT make the same topic again.

7. If u do get scammed, talk to a mod or admin don't make a post about it. It's useless.

8. If u have seen a lot of topics made about the same subject do not make a topic about the same thing. For example, i have seen a whole lot of topics made about if COD7 will Have JTAGGED Lobbies. Nobody knows because it isn't released.

9. Just be nice. Dont go swearing at someone cause they didn't know something. Just tell them to read the rules or tell them something that they will know not to do in the future.

10. Don't flame topics. That will just make a huge argument. Take it to the pms. Thats why they are there.

11. Don't give Neg. rep just because you dislike the person. Ignore them and everything will be fine.

12. Do not advertise. That will also get your topic closed.

13. Don't mini-mod. Let the mods to there jobs. They do a great one.

Look at your navigation bar at the top of your page , find " Account " & click on it .

Find The Button That Says " Update Avatar " at the right top corner of your account & click on it .

The Third Step .

Upload the avatar that you want on your profile to PhotoBucket.Com or another image hosting site . You may also choose from a pre - defined list of TTG avatars on the site .

The Fourth Step .

Acquire the " direct link " code to the avatar you want to use .

The Fifth Step .

Copy & paste the avatar's link into the box that says " Http:// "

The Sixth Step .

Click on the button that says " Save Avatar "

The Seventh Step .

You will be re - directed back to your account with a preview of your new avatar in place .

The Eighth Step .

Look for the button " Done . " underneath your new avatar .

The Ninth Step .

Show off your new personalised avatar to the TTG site !
