Hello, im on vacation, and went 1200 miles with my PC riding along with me. THe sound worked fine (with my makeshift surround sound) and now that im down here there seems to be no sound coming from my PC, ive tried everything it seems. Currently i have my cable going from the line out to line in (obviously) and theres nothing at all. But my friends on skype can hear everything that i SHOULD be hearing (Youtube videos, system sounds etc etc). Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

check and see if the audio cable is put in the correct slot. If your monitor has the ability to have multiple inputs... like mine (2 hdmi ports) go and make sure your audio is set for the computer. Also check your mixer, make sure you have the correct audio output on

watch a youtube video and also watch the audio mixer. Does it actually indicate that sound SHOULD be coming out.

Okay, this definitely leads me to believe it is a hardware, component issue. If you are desperate you could restore your computer to a couple days ago so that it could work again. If that doesn't work than I'm completely sure there is just something wrong with your speaker setup.

Are you sure? i dont think its possible anything could have happened in the car, we hit no major bumps.. and its just the stock speakers on my monitor with the one green audio cable in the line in/out plugin
