This was placed on purpose. When people abuse the rep system like this, it makes me want to get it taken out. This is completely pointless and only gets you in trouble. If you didn't know there is logs of everyones rep and we can see if you trade rep back and forth.

We put a multiplier on rep so that the rep would never die out, only expand. If there wasn't a bonus, then one person would get all the rep, then -rep and all the rep is gone forever.

It's not hard at all to find these people. Example: Forums/reputation/a=stats/u=8683.html

I can see all the rep going in and out.

If you try this and don't think you will get caught, your wrong.
