That laptop is honestly not portable at all and its size defeats the purpose of being a laptop. You just can't carry something with an 18.4 inch screen around. And once you get it there, you can't use it for long because the battery would be gone almost immediately. I think anyone who buys this "laptop" will not take it anywhere because of the size and the lack of battery life. It will probably sit on a desk plugged into a charger all its life, again defeating the purpose of buying a laptop entirely.
If I had that kind of money, I would spend it on a gaming desktop that I would build myself. For 2,000 you can get a desktop that will outperform that laptop and make his high-performance gaming dreams come true!
I can make a parts list if I am able to change his mind. It's kind of what I do, And I'm really good at it. I seriously think he would be much happier with a gaming desktop than with what he is thinking about getting.
