Umm... well do you have a tower? And I would suggest the-
GIGABYTE GA-P45T-ES3G LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

... and if you dont have a tower.. A great one would be the -
COOLER MASTER Storm Scout SGC-2000-KKN1-GP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Hope I helped, and also I would suggest getting a water cooling unit. I have had mine for about 3 years now and no problems whatsoever!

I would recommend a Intel P45 or a Asus Sabertooth motherboard.

That board is not compatible with Intel 1155 CPUs. It is for older 775 socket processors.

Water cooling is ridiculous unless you are going all out or have lots of experience and want to deal with draining and refilling the loop, monitoring the flow, making sure the heatsinks don't get gummed up, paying for it, etc.

Get the 2500K instead of the 2500. It is only a little bit more expensive and it has an unlocked multiplier, allowing you to overclock.

WIth that CPU you want a cooler, like the Cooler Master Hyper 212+.

Instead of 2TB drives, get 2 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3s in RAID 0. They are extremely fast, reliable, and quiet.

For the motherboard, forget Gigabyte. Get this one by Asrock (Which is owned by Asus, one of the best motherboard manufacturers):

If you are building this specifically to play games, you might want t step up your graphics card to a 6950. It performs much better and is the best bang for your buck card out there right now.

What is your budget? If I know it, it's way easier for me to help. Also, what games or demanding software do you want to use?

CPU cooler? You're going to by a i5-2500k for a reason. Right?

Also, since you're spending a lot of money on this pc..i recommend a better GPU.

Life time warranty + it can be flashed to a 6970.
