Change Your Gamertag For Free!



Hello guys I saw this floating around HF and decided to post it here because it is pretty useful and I think it could easily help some members out!


All Credit for Steps 1-4 goes to "Corrupted" of HF (HackForums) Rest are mine.




Tutorial:



Step 1) Sign into "login.live.com" and Change your Last name to match any part of your Gamertag.

Example: If my Gamertag were "Johnsonator" then i'd change my last name to "Johnson" on Live.com.


Step 2) Call the Xbox Live Support Number.

United States: 1-800-4MY-XBOX

United Kingdom: 0800-587-1102


Step 3) Press "2" for Xbox LIVE then 0 to speak to a representative about your "Problem"


Step 4. Once talking to a Representative, Tell him that part of your personal identity is shown through your Gamertag and is avoiding your security online.


Example: We used the Gamertag "Johnsonator" so i'd tell him Johnson is my Last Name and that my Gamertag contains an Easy to see part of my last name.


Step 5) If they do not buy it then tell them your the brother of the person who had changed it and you do not wish give such personal information away. Or your the father of the son who had made the Gamertag and you have the right to change it to protect the familys last name and online security


Step 6) They should have bought everything you've said. Now they will entitle you to a free Xbox Live Gamertag Change.
