does anyone know if that knew way to hotswap without opening your xbox works the 3 disc method

Well the only way to check if you can do it without out opening your xbox. Here's a link that shows you how to check. its easy

White Wire = BENQ Drive (which is able to hotswap without opening)
Yellow Wire = lite-On Drive (You gotta open your xbox :/)
No wire, just a peice of metal = Lol idk But you gotta open xbox
