[Quick-Scoping might return in Modern Warfare 3]
Treyarchs decision of removing quick scoping from the last CoD title Black Ops didnt really please fans of the series who had got into a habit of using it to their advantage during multi-player sessions. However, Infinity Ward doesnt intend to follow on their footsteps and have hinted that the feature might make it to the final build of Modern Warfare 3. IWs community manager Robert Bowling strongly hinted that quick-scoping might be retained for the title during a AMA (Ask Me Anything) session which he held over at Reddit. Currently, you can still quick scope in Modern Warfare 3. Keep in mind though, multiplayer is always changing at this stage (new perks, new balancing, new everything all the time based on feedback), however our philosophy on that hasnt changed since MW2. This is good news if youre fan of quick-scoping as it seems they intend on retaining it for Modern Warfare 3. Modern Warfare 3 releases this November for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

MW3 is using same game engine as MW2 so better be quickscoping

I wouldn't mind quickscoping, just no more mw2 quickscoping. Anyone could do it and the kids thought they were awesome because of it.

Quick Scope is what COD is about, without it COD can is baad.
