Okay, so a friend gave me an old iPhone 2g. Before giving it to me, he restored it to factory settings (Its got 3.1.3 firmware), unaware that i would be locked out of the phone because i dont use AT&T as a carrier. I want to use the thing as an iTouch, but i have been trying, and trying for the last four hours to get this thing to at least let me get to the home screen to no avail. I have tried, Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC15, Blackra1n RC3,Limera1n, QuickPWN 2.2.5-2, Sn0wbreeze 1.5.2 OS 3.1.3, Spirit 3.1.3, and even WinPWN. I fully admit that i haven't the faintest idea what i'm doing, and i'm pretty sure that 90% of the programs i have tried do not activate/unlock the phone, but i cant find anything that will work for me.

Any tips on what to use to Activate/ jailbreak it would be apreciated, and i'll gladly rep those who help.
