There you go! That's a solid build! Good choice with the sound card (if you want to get the most out of it, look at the Sennheiser HD 650, the Beyerdynamic DT 990 600 Ohm, etc.), are you an audiophile, by chance?

That RAM frequently goes on sale for under 30 bucks after rebates, but it is still worth it at full price. Just remember to tweak the timings after you install it. You should be able to run them at CL7 without any issues.

Unless you plan on upgrading to two 6950s, the 650 watt version of that Seasonic PSU would be better suited to your build. Still, the 650 would handle both if it had to. The 750 would just allow for some "wiggle-room."

Make sure you get the reference 6950 with 2 GB VRAM (2 GB will help you at very high resolutions, like in Eyefinity) so you can unlock the shaders to 6970 levels. You can easily find tutorials on Youtube showing how to do it. Just don't flash a 6970 BIOS, the best thing to do is just unlock the shaders and not mess with anything else except for overclocking if you so desire.

Make sure you get the 2500K instead of the 2500. You are going to want that unlocked multiplier with that cooler.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns with the build or anything else, PM me or Generation.

That's a solid build! You're going to enjoy it very much!

You can also try flashing that 6950 into a 6970..but there is no rush :p
