I have a LOT of tattoos and I do not recomend getting one on your neck since it will always be visible and people will have a negative outlook on you. As for how long they take it depends on size/design/colors/shading/artist and location

I'm actually working on a neck tattoo right now haha.
Depends really if its large it takes a few hours, if it's small it obviously wont take as long.The one I can be definite on is the actual designing that can go up to about an hour maybe 2 if I really work at it.
