Are those temps idle temps?

Also do you boot into FSD and up the fan speed?

My Xenons CPU used to get up to 80C but I immediately added a 120MM fan directly over the CPU and it keeps it down around 35C idle.

After a while you could burn up the motor. I use an external fan that i picked up for like 15 bucks, it works great.

Well, I'm selling a case for $50 that has 2 built in fan's and a custom cut window.

It's realy great to cool down console's and the power cable go's to your power outlet.

If you haven't already replace the xclamps and put on some decent thermal paste, acrtic cooling mx-3 or mx-2 or if you can't get those then arctic silver. Also add a fan shroud mod (google xbox 360 fan shroud mod) - this will increase the air flow and lower the temp for longer.

Also if you have a rotary tool then cut the metal chassis up on the side's and the back. Just like in these pic's

Then add either a 120mm or 80mm fan to the outside of the case, obviously you need to be able to either cut the hole or drill lot's of little holes for it to be effective. You can derive power for it directly from the PSU by soldering the wires to bottom of the board where the PSU plug's in. Or you can just get a 12v power adapter and wire it directly to that for external power. Just like in these pics:
