Hello TTG. Here is a Ultimate Thread/ Tutorial on a lot of different questions for TTG. If you could please take your time to suggest anything by posting it(Never hurts to increase your post count ), I would be happy to add them!

Also Please Thank the Topic, so that it will stay up!

*Note: Clicking the images will let you zoom in to see the lines easier

What is Rep?

Rep is a component to being successful. People like it when someone has a lot of rep, because it shows that he is trusted, and useful to the site. TTG Members who have negative (-) rep (not calling anybody out, sorry if I am) are less trusted members, and people tend to avoid them. Having rep like: dimebag are extremely trusted members, and become higher rankings on TTG. He is a Global Moderator (if anybody doesn't know that).

How do I get it?

How do you get more rep? Well getting rep is easy. First off, to get +rep you need to make insightful posts or topics.

Topics can include:
- Helping anybody out with anything
- Making Tutorials
- Giving away items such as this topic: Forums/t=1222675/jellyfishs-weekl...lists.html
- GFX/ Avatars/ Banners/ Signatures/ Desktop Backgrounds
- Posting, well... helpful topics
- Please do not ask for rep though (it will cause you to get (-)rep)
- You name it, you could possibly get +rep for it

If I can't do any of these above, simply because I am not capable of doing it or are not do not have the time, what can I do?

- Well in this case it really doesn't matter if you can or can't. Posting is another way of getting rep, or the real name for it: Reputation.

Ok, so lets begin for the newcomers, because we all know at one point we had the same questions.

To get rep (Listed):
- Simply get 25 posts gives you 1 Rep Power. (25 posts = 1 Rep Power)
- 100 Reputation Points gives you 1 Rep Power

To Get Reputation Points (Explained):

To get Reputation Points, you need to make insightful tutorials, or any of the list above to get some.
To give (+) or (-) Rep, you must look for a post by them or a topic they have made and click the Green Flag -- In the lower Right Corner of the post.

In Picture 2 (below) it shows that I need 3 more posts to get 1 Rep Power. Also if you noticed I need 67 more Reputation Points to earn 1 Rep Power.
If you look below, I have given people lots of +rep, and one person (-) Rep, for a spamming.

After Clicking the Green Flag
After Clicking the Green flag, there will be a box that comes up onto your screen.

In the Red Circle, you can choose whether or not to give them (-) Reputation. In the Green Circle, you can choose whether or not to give them (+)Reputation. The Yellow Circle is how many points you are going to give/ send them. The more you do, the more generous you are. Beneath that is a Purple line. This is where you can send them a note, that will go along with the reputation points you are sending.

Also a common question that a lot of newcomers have is:
Question: "If I send other members Reputation Points, are they being withdrawn from me?
Answer: No. Reputation Points that you earn stay with you, unless you are (-) Negatively Repped by someone.

If this Topic has already been made before, please don't flame this took me (I was the only one, who worked on it) awhile to do. I would also love your feedback! Thanks TTG, and I hope this helps anyone out there!
Thanks. Blue

What is Gold, and what does it give you?

Gold is a premium membership, that allows you to access new forums called: "Gold Members Forum"
The section is kept only to Gold members, and if you release it to a non-gold member (and they catch you) then you will be banned from TTG.

As a Gold Member, it gives you the ability to Change the Color of your name at any time. It also allows you to give up to 50 rep instead of 25. You can change your name 1 time per month too. Although Subscriptions last 1 month, so make sure you like your new name before changing it.

Here is a list that is much easier to read

    - The Gold Members Forum
    - Change your Name (once per month)
    - Get to request different downloads
    - Have a Motto
    - Get a Signature
    - Have a Gold Member Badge
    - Tech Game Email Address
    - Gold Removes Ads

Buying Gold vs. Being Gifted Gold:
- Buying Gold allows you to have a subscription, so that it will update when the next month hits.

To Gift Someone Gold:
1. Go to their Account page

2. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

3. It will say "Give The Gift Of Gold" -- And show a gold shield with a green plus

Making a Successful Shop or Trying to Sell an Item
1. Make sure you use pictures of your topic! The last thing anybody wants is to get scammed!
2. To make sure people trust you take a picture with a notecard or something with your TTG name on it. This will advoid any posts asking for Proof.

Here is an Example of a shop that could be legitimate:
Forums/viewtopic/t=1108512.html

This was made by me awhile ago when I was trying to sell my Modded Controller.
As you can see, it includes 2 video's with me saying my name, how i want it to be payed for (PayPal). It gives you different package deals that would allow the buyer to decide whether he or she wants it + an extra item or not. Also, I give you a way of contacting me. Then if you are already to buy you have the shipping details, and where I live and a shipping calculator, so you know exactly how long it may take.

Just for you guys, i will include the layout, with everything already colored up. All you need to do is submit your own text!

The Layout will be exactly the same as the Modded Controller Topic

Here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] -For Easy Already Made Sheet to sell with items on TTG with

There isn't any viruses, I put the HTML coding into Microsoft Word where you can copy and paste it into your topic.

How to Make Hidden Text
To make hidden text, is quite simple. All you need to do is be able to create a post, or topic.
Here are the steps to creating :
this

1. Make a New Topic
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

2. Write any thing you want into the text box that comes up
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

3. Highlight the text that you just wrote into the Text Box
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

4. Now with your words highlighted click the White Square (Spoiler) on the lower tab of the inserting images/ uploading youtube videos. The Spoiler is marked in a yellow square below

I know there's been tut's about this but there buried so it's good to see a nice fresh one! Easy to read and follow as well. Good color coding to.

May i suggest though centering the pictures with the Text? Makes it look a lot better. Im not saying it's bad just centering will give a more "Professional" look
